I'm Bob Marlow, Director of Marlows Diamonds and the grandson of the founder of the J E Marlow & Sons. Starting the Company back in 1951, little did anyone envisage we would now be 'fourth generation', an achievement I am very proud of. I put our success down to the commitment of every single member of staff truly caring for our customers, not just on initial purchases but for a lifetime of aftercare. Just like the Company, our clients, too, are fourth generation. Our passion lies in ensuring our customers not only receive the finest of products but the guarantee and commitment of probably one of the most trusted and established 'working' jewellers in the UK.

Shally is the CEO of the organization, in charge of all purchasing and strategic decisions. His background as a diamond dealer puts the company in prime position to source any diamond or gemstone from around the world or purchase and manufacture bespoke pieces from rough. His expertise in dealing with high end polished diamonds and precious stones for the past 35 years puts us in close contact with rough producers and miners so our customers receive the best value products. His Economics MBA degree helps the company manouvere difficult situations and adapt to ever changing global industry conditions with speed and flexibility, like introducing lab grown diamonds and gemstones when consumer demand changed after COVID. His current plans to move from London to Dubai and open our brand to new markets will assist the organisation grow multi fold in the Mid East and around the world. His ideas and input is heard within the industry and he is always meeting other industry leaders so that the jewellery industry remains a store of legacy and luxury and make jewellery affordable to all. Shally loves to travel and enjoy with friends around the world.

I'm Carol Marlow, Company Secretary of Marlow's Diamonds. Having left the crazy world of advertising 30 years ago, I joined my husband in the family business. Little did I know how much I would come to love the world of diamond jewellery. I am a qualified gemmologist with a real passion for diamonds, having qualified in the top three in the World, so I'd like to think our customers are in safe hands. There is no better joy than seeing our customers fall in love with the beauty of diamonds and a piece that will be cherished for a life time. As Marilyn Monroe once said, "Diamonds really are a girl's bestfriend".

Sandeep is a Senior Sales Consultant at Marlow’s Diamonds with over 25 years of experience within the diamond and jewellery industry. With extensive knowledge in diamonds, Sandeep has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and expert guidance. Sandeep also manages Marlow’s trade customers, working closely with jewellers and industry professionals to provide expert sourcing, product guidance, and tailored solutions, supplying high-quality diamond jewellery and diamonds. His passion, experience, and commitment to excellence make him a valued and trusted member of the Marlow’s Diamonds team.

I've been working for the Marlows family for thirteen years - an unlucky number for some but for me it's been a rewarding journey. I bring years of experience, energy and a natural flair for keeping everything running smoothly, making sure every visit starts just right! I've worked at Marlow's for 53 years, and during that time I've been involved in every part of the business. I specialise in diamonds — from sorting and selecting them to helping customers choose the perfect stone — and I love being hands-on throughout the entire process. What I enjoy most is following my customers' journeys over the years, from engagements to weddings and often to welcoming their children. It's a wonderful industry to be part of, and I feel very lucky to have shared so many special moments with generations of families.

I'm a diamond specialist at Marlows Diamonds and have proudly been part of the company for over four decades. I bring a focused, intuitive approach to my work, with a strong eye for detail and a precision-led mindset. I'm passionate about quality and value, and I take great care in helping every customer find their perfect piece — especially when it comes to engagement rings. Delivering exceptional jewellery and an outstanding experience is something I'm deeply committed to. Outgoing and approachable by nature, I take real pride in guiding customers through such meaningful purchases. Many return to me time and time again, which I consider one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

With over 40 years in sales and nearly 30 in the diamond trade, I bring a wealth of experience and a true understanding of what customers value. My background includes sales promotion, merchandising, jewellery manufacturing, and running my own jewellery business for 15 years — giving me insight from workshop to showroom. Straight-talking and approachable, I believe in honest advice, exceptional quality, and meticulous attention to detail. My focus is simple: helping you choose something truly special, with complete confidence.

I’m Sara, and I have been with Marlows for almost 30 years. My greatest pleasure is meeting couples at the start of their journey together; not just the young either! Some of the most wonderful stories come from our ‘more mature’ clientele. We develop firm friendships which last for many years, I believe this is a testament to Marlow’s fabulous customer service on which we pride ourselves.

With over 35 years of experience in the jewellery and diamond trade, I bring a wealth of industry knowledge spanning design, manufacturing, retail, and sourcing. I began my career with hands-on jewellery making and production, developing a deep understanding of craftsmanship and quality that continues to shape my work today. I ran my own retail and manufacturing business for 12 years, gaining invaluable insight into both the creative and commercial sides of the industry. This entrepreneurial experience strengthened my expertise in operations, customer service, and strategic buying. Today, I am part of a busy administrative team, where I ensure stock and diamonds are accurately priced and ready for the sales team. I liaise closely with international suppliers and source gemstones globally, combining commercial awareness with a genuine passion for exceptional stones.

For the past 13 years, I have been a key part of the admin team at Marlows. If you've ever wondered what happens "behind the scenes" — that's where you'll find me. I oversee stock input, stock control, stock takes, and detailed data entry, ensuring everything runs smoothly and precisely. I am also the first point of contact for telephone and email enquiries, while helping to create engaging social media content that reflects who we are. I take pride in being approachable, hardworking, and delivering top-tier customer service. While I'm known for my organisation and perfectionism, I'm also often heard singing the odd one-line wonder to keep team spirits high. I bring energy, positivity, and just a little playful mischief to the office — because great teamwork should always come with a smile.

I'm Marlows longest-standing goldsmith, having been part of the company for over 25 years and with an incredible 58 years in the jewellery trade. I began my career in 1968, learning the craft the traditional way, on the bench, six days a week, earning £4 a week and soaking up knowledge from the master craftsmen around me. Chris brings a lifetime of experience, precision, and pride to every piece he works on and, thankfully, he can confirm he's no longer on £4 a week.

For me, jewellery is more than a profession, it's a lifelong passion. Inspired by my mother's luxury jewellery house in China, I spent my youth immersed in the world of fine craft. This foundation led me to the UK, where I spent years at Birmingham City University honing my signature style through a Master's in Contemporary Jewellery Design. Since 2015, I have been transforming concepts into wearable art. For the past three years at Marlows, I have worked alongside the industry's best, perfecting the delicate art of goldsmithing. I believe that beauty lies in the details; my "perfectionist" approach means I don't stop until a piece is flawless, ensuring my clients receive nothing less than my absolute best.

I am a goldsmith and jewellery maker with experience in bespoke commissions, repairs, gem setting, and mounting. I trained at the Stemnitsa Gold and Silversmith School in Greece, studied metalsmithing at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, and completed further training in CAD, 3D printing, and laser welding at the Birmingham School of Jewellery. I’m part of the Marlow’s in house goldsmith team, where I continue to develop my craft through precision work and fine jewellery making.

My name is Malcolm Burke I have been employed by Marlows for 4 years. I have over 50 years of experience in the jewellery industry as a skilled bench jeweller. Throughout my career I have developed extensive expertise across all aspects of jewellery craftsmanship. These include the setting of all types of gemstones and diamonds. In addition to stone setting, I specialise in jewellery repairs, restoration, polishing, and the design and creation of bespoke pieces. I take great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in every project.
